The escalating tensions in West Asia, once again moving towards a war-like situation, are deeply concerning. Even when numerous peaceful solutions remain available, continuous actions that create instability in the region can never be justified. If the attacks intensify, they will severely affect millions of people, including Indians who depend on West Asia for their livelihood.

We must sincerely pray for the conflict to end at the earliest and for peace to prevail. I also urge the United Nations and other international organizations, as well as world leaders and nations, to undertake urgent diplomatic interventions in support of peace efforts.

During these blessed days of Ramadan, let us engage in the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, perform good deeds, and offer sincere supplications. May Allah protect us from great calamities and grant peace and safety to the world.

Met Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi today in New Delhi.
We had a meaningful discussion on various social, humanitarian, educational and developmental matters, along with issues concerning minority welfare and important international developments. I also brought to his attention the concerns and requests that we gathered from different sections of society during my recent Kerala tour under the theme 'With Humanity'. I had the opportunity to convey my message for the holy month of Ramadan as well.

The Prime Minister conveyed that he closely follows the educational and social welfare initiatives being carried out under the leadership of Jam’iyyathul Ulama and Jamia Markaz. He appreciated these efforts and noted that such initiatives, which contribute to enhancing India’s reputation at the global level, are truly commendable.

Our discussion also covered the need for inclusive development that embraces all sections of society; the importance of giving due attention to happiness indices and human development alongside economic growth; ensuring fair allocation of resources based on population proportion and regional balance; concerns related to Waqf and SIR; protection of historic mosques and Islamic heritage monuments; reinstatement of minority educational welfare schemes, including the Maulana Azad National Fellowship; ensuring justice for innocent people, including in the Bareilly incident; addressing the challenges faced by Islamic institutions in North India such as Mubarakpur Jamia Ashrafiyya; introducing train services connecting major pilgrimage centres in South India; development of the Aligarh University Malappuram Centre; and the need for closer engagement between the Central Government and minority communities across the country.

ജംഇയ്യത്തുൽ ഉലമയുടെയും മർകസിന്റെയും നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ നടക്കുന്ന വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ-സാമൂഹ്യക്ഷേമ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളും ആഗോള തലത്തിൽ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ യശസ്സ് ഉയർത്തുന്ന ഇടപെടലുകളും അടുത്തറിയുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും അവ പ്രശംസനീയമാണെന്നും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പങ്കുവെച്ചു.

എല്ലാ ജനവിഭാഗങ്ങളെയും ഉൾക്കൊണ്ടുള്ള വികസനം, സാമ്പത്തിക മുന്നേറ്റത്തിനൊപ്പം സന്തോഷ സൂചികക്കും മാനവ വികസനത്തിനും നൽകേണ്ട പരിഗണന, ജനസംഖ്യാനുപാതികവും പ്രാദേശിക സന്തുലിതവുമായി വിഭവങ്ങൾ ലഭ്യമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്റെ പ്രാധാന്യം, വഖ്ഫ്-എസ് ഐ ആർ ആശങ്കകൾ, പുരാതന മസ്ജിദുകളും ഇസ്‌ലാമിക പൈതൃക സ്മാരകങ്ങളും സംരക്ഷിക്കൽ, മൗലാനാ ആസാദ് നാഷണൽ ഫെല്ലോഷിപ്പ് ഉൾപ്പെടയുള്ള ന്യൂനപക്ഷ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ ക്ഷേമ പദ്ധതികളുടെ പുനഃസ്ഥാപനം, ബറേലി സംഭവത്തിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടെ നിരപരാധികൾക്ക് ലഭ്യമാവേണ്ട നീതി, മുബാറക്പൂർ ജാമിഅ അശ്റഫിയ്യ മുതൽ ഉത്തരേന്ത്യയിലെ ഇസ്‌ലാമിക് സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾ നേരിടുന്ന പ്രതിസന്ധികൾ പരിഹരിക്കുക, സൗത്തിന്ത്യയിലെ തീർഥാടന കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളെ ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ട്രെയിൻ സർവീസ്, അലിഗഢ് സർവകലാശാല മലപ്പുറം സെന്റർ വികസനം, രാജ്യത്തെ ന്യൂനപക്ഷ ജനവിഭാഗവുമായി കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാർ അടുത്തിടപെടേണ്ടതിന്റെ ആവശ്യകത തുടങ്ങിയ വിഷയങ്ങൾ സംസാരവിഷയമായി.

Muthanna Al-Faris, who spent three years at Meta in various roles, most recently as a Project Manager in the Integrity and Compliance Operations Department, announced his resignation in protest over the company’s complicity in human rights violations and the ongoing genocide carried out by Israel against Palestinians in Gaza.

In a public statement on Facebook, Al-Faris said he had joined Meta to build tools that connect people and empower communities, but soon realized the company was indirectly facilitating abuses against Palestinians.

“When I realized that my work in improving data quality for large language models (AI systems), testing the safety of AI systems, and building automation tools could make me complicit in the bloodshed of my Palestinian brothers and sisters by enabling the development of weapons like those from the “Anduril” partnership and undisclosed connections with the Israeli government, that was the last straw,” he said in the statement.
