The right to walk on a footpath has been declared a Fundamental Right by the Hon’ble Supreme Court - a much-needed step that state governments and Urban Local Bodies must act upon.

There is an urgent need to enact legislation on this. The Karnataka Active Mobility Bill, 2022, introduced by the BJP-led state government, and well received by all citizens should be tabled and implemented without delay.

Bengaluru’s footpaths aren't usable - inadequate, poorly maintained, encroached and unsafe.

I urge the CM @DKShivakumar led state government to table this Bill and request Bengaluru Development Minister Shri @krishnabgowda to prioritise and ensure walkability across Bengaluru.

Italy is also a democracy like India. Millions don't like and didn't vote PM Meloni in Italy.

Yet, when Trump recently made a silly remark about Meloni "begging to take pics with him", the whole country, including opposition, have stood behind her.

Nobody is mocking her using Trump's comments. Nobody is saying she has made Italy look weak. None in Italy is taking the side of Trump mocking their PM for some silly political gratification.

Our cities, including Bengaluru, have expanded rapidly over the last 15 years.

Unfortunately, this growth has followed an inverted model, with homes first, infrastructure later, resulting in the severe urban challenges we face today.

Well-planned roads, metro connectivity, and a robust sewerage network should form the foundation.

Only on this strong base we can deliver affordable housing at scale in a planned and sustainable manner.

Bengaluru is paying the price for Congress' contractor-driven, car-centric urban planning.

BMRCL has dropped the Veterinary College station from Phase 3A of the Red Line, citing "low ridership." Their own DPR proves otherwise. The veterinary college is removed to accommodate the Short Tunnel Project - a clearly unplanned and ill considered move.

The DPR projects 18,303 daily boardings at Veterinary College by 2031 - higher than several proposed stations and even higher than Sarjapura, the line's originating station. First planned as an underground station, then converted to elevated, and now removed altogether - all to accommodate the Short Tunnel Road project. The DPR further projects peak demand of 24,000 passengers per hour per direction by 2033, with over 8 lakh daily commuters expected on the corridor. In contrast, the proposed car-only tunnel is designed for just 6,500 vehicles per direction.

The escalating cost of the project is a result of construction delays and the loss of nearly two years due to confusion created by the tunnel road proposal. Now, instead of taking responsibility for these delays, BMRCL is using them as a justification to remove the Veterinary College station.

A station for thousands removed to accommodate a tunnel for perpetuating car dependency. This is not urban planning; it's contractor-driven governance.

Empowering BMLTA is the key to making sound urban mobility decisions.

Bengaluru deserves better. Urge the new Bengaluru Development Minister @krishnabgowda to take decisions in the interest of citizens.

கிரீன் மேஜிக் வகை பால் விற்பனை குறைப்புக்கு, நிதி இழப்பைக் காரணமாகக் கூறுகிறார்கள். நிதி இழப்பைச் சரி செய்ய, பால் உற்பத்தியையும், பால் மற்றும் பால் பொருள்கள் விற்பனையையும் அதிகரித்து, அதன் மூலம் நிதி இழப்பைக் கட்டுப்படுத்தும் நடவடிக்கைகளில் ஈடுபட வேண்டுமே தவிர, ஏழை எளிய மக்கள் அதிகம் பயன்படுத்தும் பால் வகை விற்பனையை நிறுத்தக் கூடாது.

We are stepping into a profound new era. In 1982, TIME’s "Man of the Year" was a computer; in 2025, it was AI. Urged the youth not to fear AI taking away jobs, but to adapt and harness it to evolve. The future belongs to those who take bold risks to solve the world's biggest problems.
