ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದ ಆಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬೀದಿಗೆ ತಂದು ಹರಾಜಿಗಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ನೀವು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರವಾದರೂ ಇಂತಹುದೇನಾ? ನೆನಪಿರಲಿ, ಇಂತಹ ಹಿಂಸಾತ್ಮಕ ದಾಳಿಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಯಕರ ಹೋರಾಟದ ಹಾದಿಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಗಟ್ಟಿಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತವೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಧೃತಿಗೆಡಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

ಇದು ಬಸವಣ್ಣನವರ, ಕುವೆಂಪು ಅವರ ಶಾಂತಿಪ್ರಿಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ವಿಕೃತ, ಹಿಂಸಾತ್ಮಕ ಪುಂಡಾಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಜಾಗವಿಲ್ಲ. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸಭ್ಯತೆಯ ಗಡಿ ದಾಟಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ವಿರುದ್ಧವೂ ನಾವು ಕಠಿಣ ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.‌
