We feel betrayed. You promised to protect innocent Iranians, especially conscripts. Had we known we’d later be labelled security threats, many would not have extended permits, had children here, or stayed when we still had legal options to leave. @liberal_party

If the priority is to target genuine terrorists and their supporters, why are hundreds of innocent families, people who were compelled into conscription service years ago, now facing fear, uncertainty, and the risk of losing the lives they’ve built in Canada? Victims of coercion should not be treated as perpetrators. Canadians deserve an explanation.

A career commander chose to join the regime for life. An 18 year old conscript was forced to serve for two years. Treating a low level draft victim like a high ranking officer makes zero sense.
