. @thsottiaux I think most of the confusion around Codex resets is that a reset also moves the weekly reset date.

In my case, my weekly reset is tomorrow, Aug 23. If I use my banked reset today, my normal reset tomorrow is gone and the next one moves another 7 days out. So the reset isn't really that useful for me right now.

Some users may even choose their subscription day around their work schedule, like a weekday reset so they don't have to rush through remaining usage on the weekend. A random or banked reset can mess up that schedule too.

Wouldn't it be better if a reset just restored the usage without changing the normal weekly reset date?

@paulg Let them, it’s their learning phase. They will improve and mature over time. It’s speed of shipping and competition die to which such improvements are ignored, but balance will restore soon.
