UN Women and #JICA have signed an agreement to implement the “Women Lead Peace” project, strengthening women’s leadership in peacebuilding and community resilience in northern Mozambique.

The initiative will benefit more than 1,200 women and girls.

Today met with H.E Ferhat Alkan, Ambassador of Turkey to Mozambique, to discuss collaboration opportunities. Meeting focused on strengthening women’s economic empowerment, advancing girls’s education and building a strong partnership to advance gender equality. #UNWomen
