@beatlesincanada@carlosgvizcaino I agree that the inner light should have been on it but never really understood why can’t buy me love and I should have known better were on it
Remembering John Lennon on what would have been his 84th birthday. He will be forever loved, always missed and never forgotten. Happy birthday to Sean as well.

@ADixonMusic It all looks amazing it’s a shame the vinyl box within the cube is not available separately as it was with George’s All things must pass set. it’s a lot of money to spend if you want all the music on vinyl something I certainly can’t afford.

INTERVIEW WITH DAVID SHEFF, 1980
John: First of all, conceive of the idea of no nation, no passport. If you’re not defending a nation, there’s nothing to fight about. We’ve said it a million times.
We’re not the first to say ‘Imagine No Countries’ or ‘Give Peace a Chance’, but we’re carrying that torch, like the Olympic torch, passing it hand to hand, to each other, to each country, to each generation. And that’s our job.
Not to live according to somebody else’s idea of how we should live – rich, poor, happy, not happy, smiling, not smiling, wearing the right jeans, not wearing the right jeans.
There was a time when you didn’t have to have a passport to go from country to country.
What kind of world are we creating, really? What is this game that somehow this is America and then just across the field is Canada and you have to have all kinds of papers and pictures and stamps and passports? When you think about it, it’s insane carving up the world into little patches like that.
The concept of imagining no countries, imagining no religion – not imagining no God, although you’re entitled to do that, too, you know? Imagine no denominations. Imagining that we revere Jesus Christ, Muhammad, Krishna, Milarepa, equally – we don’t have to worship either one that we don’t have to, but imagine there’s no Catholic vs Protestant. No Jew vs Christian. That we allow it all. Freedom of religion for real. Just imagine it. Would it be terrible?

"I do wish the people of Gaza, Palestine, and Israel, get to discover what 25 years of peace, prosperity and diplomacy and democracy looks like. And that those people can blossom into a much more confident and brighter future for everyone involved" #HIGNFY

"Good morning."
Do people still say this to strangers, or is it another example of good manners that's been consigned to history?
