@BobaCyclist This is damage control / PR from the unions. Someone hit that column on accident, this is not a structural engineering flaw. It looks like tons of electrical wire were stacked around the buckling column in other videos.

@mikeskup @FDNY Most concerning though was it accidental or on purpose? Unions have been known to sabotage jobs using some non-union labor on site in places like NYC, if it's not 100% union they will strike, sabotage, slow down, etc.

A corner column doesnt have as much axial load as an interior column & would be odd to fail first
