The extractive model that produces a genocide in Palestine; that resurrects the western economic engine of mass enslavement in the Congo; that engineers mass slaughter and famine in Sudan — this is not a world order in crisis. It is a world order working as it was designed.
The real crisis is that increasing numbers of people are noticing the design!
Gaza has pulled back the veil on everything and everyone. It is time to plan not merely an end to the violence, but to imagine a different order entirely.
The alternatives need not be invented from scratch. They already exist in the civilizational traditions that colonialism spent centuries trying to eliminate precisely because they offered different answers:
ISLAMIC PRINCIPLES.
• Zakat as structural redistribution, not charity.
• The prohibition on riba (usury) as a principle that finance must serve human life.
• Waqf — the communal endowment held in perpetual trust — built the infrastructure of Islamic cities for a thousand years without privatization.
AFRICAN COMMUNAL ETHOS.
• Ubuntu: “A person is a person through other persons.” • A direct refutation of neoliberal capitalism’s premise that the individual is the primary unit of social life.
• South Africa enshrined ubuntu in its constitution.
INDIGENOUS PALESTINIAN HERITAGE.
• The olive tree as archive.
• Land as something you belong to, not something you own. No amount of military power can purchase this relationship or replicate it.
Here's a thought experiment they don't teach in American schools.
Imagine a foreign power, significantly stronger than the United States, decided after a disputed intelligence assessment that the American government posed a threat.
It assembled a coalition, invaded, removed the government, disbanded the military, releasing hundreds of thousands of armed men into unemployment, and installed a transitional authority composed largely of exiles who had been living in the foreign power’s country for twenty years.
It then spent the next decade conducting night raids on American homes.
It ran detention facilities where Americans were held without charge and in some cases tortured.
It operated checkpoints in American cities where American citizens were stopped, searched, and sometimes killed by foreign soldiers who did not speak English and could not distinguish a civilian from a combatant and in many cases did not particularly try.
A generation of American children grew up in this environment.
Would you describe those children's resulting hostility to the foreign power as:
(A) A rational response to their lived experience
or
(B) Evidence of a cultural pathology that requires theological and anthropological analysis?
You already know the answer.
You knew it before I finished the sentence.
The exercise is only necessary because the question is never asked the right way around.
In the pediatric ward of Nasser Medical Complex, the cries of infants are no longer just calls for milk—they are pleas for survival. The depletion of infant formula amid worsening malnutrition has left hundreds of babies facing hunger and illness, their tiny bodies weakened while mothers stand helpless. In Gaza, a missing can of milk can mean the difference between life and death.

U.S. VIOLATED THE IRAN MoU AGAIN
🇺🇸🇮🇷 U.S. Signed a MoU, Clause 5, Putting Iran in Charge of the Hormuz, Then BOMBED Iran for Enforcing It
Buried in the MOU Washington inked days ago is Article 5: Iran administers safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, clearing mines and military obstacles in waters it controls, for 60 toll-free days. Policing that corridor is not a violation. It is the JOB the agreement hands Iran.
So when an unauthorized vessel ran the strait and Iran's navy stopped it, Iran was executing Article 5 to the letter. The U.S. answer was airstrikes on Sirik and Qeshm Island.
Iran did exactly what the deal authorized and got bombed for it. The aggressor here is the one who broke the paper it signed.
Kudos to Jose Mourinho, Alan Shearer and many other footballing figures who have called out the outrageous and impossible VAR offside decision against Iran.
But none of them has stated the truth: it was not incompetence, it was FIFA political corruption.
Leaked documents re the sham “Board of Peace” show it granting sweeping immunity to itself & the right to seize public property. A group of private indivuduals are looting Palestinians in broad daylight. #Genocide should be punished, not profitable #Gaza

That particular moment when a British surgeon was giving testimony to the UK Parliament.
He describes how IDF drones arrive right after airstrikes in Gaza, targeting and shooting the injured, including children, right on the spot......
"I was a nurse in Gaza. I volunteered in Gaza. I’ve seen what happens. There is a genocide. Free Palestine."
“FREE PALESTINE”
Irish-born nurse Ceire Ni Ghribin supporting Scotland is a legend.
💢🇵🇸 Israeli attacks killed at least 6 Palestinians across Gaza on Friday and early Saturday, including three police officers killed in a double-tap strike.
➤ A 10-year-old boy, Walid Youssef Abu Jazar, died Saturday from wounds sustained in an Israeli strike west of Khan Younis earlier this week.
➤ Two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone strike Friday on Jabaliya Al-Balad, northern Gaza Strip, according to Al-Jazeera.
➤ In southern Gaza, Israeli forces opened fire in the Nemsawi neighborhood west of Khan Younis, wounding a young man.
➤ Witnesses told Middle East Monitor Israeli military vehicles raked homes south and west of the city with heavy machine gun fire, while artillery shelled southern areas of the city and tanks fired heavily east of Khan Younis, deploying stun grenades.
➤ In central Gaza, Israeli artillery and military vehicles opened fire on areas east of Al Maghazi refugee camp as troops surrounded a home southeast of the camp amid heavy gunfire, the Monitor added.
➤ In northern Gaza, several Israeli military vehicles carried out a limited incursion into the Al Trans area of Jabalia refugee camp while opening heavy fire.
Gaza’s Health Ministry says Israeli ceasefire violations have now killed 1,031 Palestinians and wounded more than 3,300 people since the truce took effect in October. UNICEF says more than 260 of those killed are children.
The Lebanese-Israeli agreement is another nail in the coffin of international law. Art 13 shields Israel from accountability for its crimes. It means that Israel is above the law, that Lebanon surrenders its rights. This is politics without rights, dictated by the powerful.
If there ever was any smoking gun evidence that the Israeli-Lebanese agreement is nothing but a cover for Israel to sabotage the US-Iran MOU and subjugate Lebanon under Israeli dominion, it is von der Leyen's endorsement of the agreement.
To paraphrase Mohammed Al-Kurd:
In one part of the world, we have mothers complaining about being threatened by some words on a tshirt.
In another part of the world, we have mothers searching through the rubble for their dead children.
Guess who receives more attention?
Malek Shinbary wrote on FB:
"These two were the only survivors of the bombing of an entire residential tower that had been sheltering displaced families. They alone emerged into this cruel world, while 87 people, including members of their own families, were killed. Some remain beneath the rubble to this very day.
A single wall in their ground-floor room spared the lives of these newlyweds. Above them, the tower collapsed, burying everyone they loved, literally, not metaphorically.
I don't know what they felt in that moment. I don't think any language has a word for such a feeling. How does a human being comprehend that, in the space of a single instant, everyone they have ever known is gone, and they are left utterly alone in this world?
This haunting scene, worthy of an enduring work of art, was documented by the late journalist Anas Al-Sharif and photographer Aboud Abu Salama in December 2023 at Al-Ahli Hospital, after an entire residential tower in Gaza City's Al-Daraj neighborhood was bombed.
No one knows where life took them afterward, or how they carried on. But one thing is certain: this moment will never leave them. Love is not measured by what we say, it is measured by what remains when everything else has collapsed.
As for this wretched world, complicit with the killer, it continues, even now, to erase everything: the names, the faces, the stories, even memory itself. Yet it will never erase the truth. Even if every one of us were hanged on the gallows of history, we would write that truth upon our own bodies.
Genocidal Gaza | June 2026
One of the days of the so-called "ceasefire."
"
