Claude Opus 5.5 basically rebuilt Terraria in 3D.
8 days.
346K lines of C#.
3,369 items.
313 enemies & bosses.
Custom engine. No Unity. No Godot.
And the wildest part?
The creator says they wrote none of the code.
AI game development is getting absurd.
I asked Opus 5.5 to find a way to clear my 3D printer’s print bed, so it can experiment non-stop without me in the loop.
It took 16 attempts. I'm officially out of the loop.
Video by Opus, obviously.
I asked Claude Opus 5.5 to explain how a rocket engine works by building an interactive Raptor 3 you can take apart in your browser.
Cut it open, follow the oxygen and the methane through both turbopumps, then throttle it and watch the shock diamonds move.

I asked Opus 5.5 to build a working computer from scratch.
And holy fuck did it deliver.
277k logic gates in JS, an OS on top, and games on the OS. This isn't a mockup... it's a computer.
Run it: https://t.co/fnAEYEPjo5
Made a public google drive with a 'how it was made,' prompts + generated image assets, high quality audio exports, and the master mp4. Enjoy:

OPENAI COFOUNDER SAYS EMOTIONS MAY BE WHY WE CAN MAKE DECISIONS
ilya brings up a guy who lost emotional processing after brain damage. he could still talk normally and solve problems, but somehow became terrible at making basic decisions
"It would take him hours to decide on which socks to wear."
we spend so much time treating emotions like the annoying part of thinking. calm down, remove the feelings, be logical
then you remove them completely and even choosing socks becomes a serious problem
kinda changes how i look at AI advice too. it can give you 20 perfectly reasonable answers in seconds, but somebody still has to care which outcome actually matters
you can understand every option and still not know which one matters to you
Ever noticed how Subnautica 2 has almost no seams? In the sand, on the rocks, in the cave walls. None!
Check it out next time you are swimming around! 👀
Being able to say I had something to do with this game has been such an honor!
