@AshishGupta325 Well, may be right. However, I may have traded for 10-11 years, faced losses, persisted.. now profitable for last 6-7 years.. persistence pays too. Learnt my lessons, understood risk management and changed my thinking!
So much negativity all around.
If I was a budding trader, I'd be most influenced by is this:
0.5% of traders were profitable every year last 5 years.
I'd say to myself:
If someone can do it, so can I. If they say you can't do it, they are showing you their limits. Not yours.
@Ashish1Nanda So rightly the manipulators fined. My questions-
1) investors lost money on 13th. Why not this penalty be used to compensate those people
2) it's now clear that it is easy to manipulate a system that was brought to check manipulations. Why not have options contract end at 3-15
If SEBI found that CAS was manipulated and impounded the manipulator’s illegal profits, shouldn’t that money compensate investors who suffered losses in CAS?
Why should SEBI keep it? And if not for this, what exactly is the Investor Protection Fund for?
With derivatives being 1000 times bigger than cash volumes, this is bound to happen.
Even worse, ppl will figure out how to do this by forming groups/nexus.
The simple solution is to remove the incentive altogether.
Delink 0DTEs from CAS. All the objectives of CAS will be met
Well, you made a ground ripe enough for this.
Incentives are big enough for these things to repeat.
Fine, you'll penalise the culprits & even ban them.
But wt abt the losses retail traders face? @SEBI_India
Why not settle 0DTE contracts at 3:15pm reference price?
@_anujsinghal@SEBI_updates Should not stop here. How does trader benefit, they won't get compensation. These manipulations would likely continue till options contract exp by 3-15
@WeekendInvestng Big corruption happens in defence, remember augusta. This govt purchased Rafale through govt to govt deal. No corruption... Sure local level pe corruption hai and may I say rahega but top level pe reduced significantly
