@wbmosler @PhilArmstrong58 Not all imports retain value beyond a few months. Importing national security goods creates a dangerous dependency. Strategic imports or raw resources useful to rebuild our industrial base and infrastructure is a different matter.

Now that SCOTUS has gutted the most basic judicial principle of stare decisis (rational and predictable consistency), it is getting ready to unwind civil rights legislation, FDA, FTC, and all other Commerce clause based Federal laws. Here comes the 1950s right back at you.
