@MasterMaliq Did you know that in quantum mechanics, things can exist in two places at the same time? My point is that there is more to our world and God than our minds can comprehend. That is not proof of anything; instead, it is an observation that we need to be careful not to assume things
@MasterMaliq We rebel, and that canโt happen, so God left us in a world of suffering to see who we truly are. Those who find hope in God will find Jesus, and it is the resurrection that will make them worthy of His kingdom, oversimplified.
@MasterMaliq You have to believe in the big story of the Bible. God created the world to be a paradise with man as his helpers. We were given free will so that we could live in a loving relationship. 1/2
@Ernest1588761 If you use the Bible to prove Godโs existence, then you are putting the cart before the horse. There are two revelations of God, general and special. If one can't believe in a Creator through general revelation, then special revelation is foolishness.
@CatholicCo200@antitheistdad The problem is humans are fallible, and our emotions and desires get in the way of the truth. That is true with the Pope, too. The best we can do is work toward the truth. My article tries to show people that Sola Scriptura does not mean we have authority ourselves.
@DennisBowden18 How about John 20:29? To believe you can or have the right to know everything is to be like God. God had a conversation with Job about that.
@maklelan If you understood world history and how other nations crucified, burnt, and impaled salves, then heaved their bodies in open graves, you wonโt be complaining. Slavery was a way of life in the world until it was replaced by mechanization.
@DennisBowden18 Personally, I think that is an unwise question to ask. You are a puny human on a puny planet in a vast universe, so we should just accept it. However, the Bible claims that our lives are in our blood, so we pay with our lives.
@Askwhyisit Belief is based on evidence. To me, the creation yells there is a mind behind it all. I don't have to see the reason to believe anymore than I have to see an atom to believe it exists. All I need is the evidence that it exists.
@MasterMaliq The reason David was great was, for one thing, that among all the kings of Israel, he understood that the kingdom wasn't his. When he did wrong, it was against his Lord. Because of this understanding, Jesus is called the Sin of David.
@AtheistPhoenix While I think you must have missed the storyline, the bottom line is that it doesn't matter what you think you are going to face Him with.
Why don't you see God as a caring parent advising a child not to take drugs because it will ruin their life, instead of God threatening to drug us if we don't obey?
