@spectator Gotta protect the elderly, despite them being the ones with all their "money" locked up in houses because they've massively benefited from house price rises, and cost the most in healthcare etc
@MooAndDrew@CityAM@UKLabour Except you get 20% relief on the way in, gains are not taxed, then you get a 15% tax (not 20) on the way out, up to £1m, because you have the 25% tax free allowance.
If you think tax free gains and a reduced 15% tax rate rather than 20% isn't worth it...
