Going to give a running commentary of the final weekend before GCSE Lit 1 as a parent.
Used to it as an English teacher but WOW this is a totally different beast.
Although we did have a useful convo about how to write about 'fair' and 'foul'. As a parent those words seem extra relevant and I'm starting to wonder if the whole thing is actually about teenagers.
I'm *giving away* a signed copy of THE MAGIC WORDS to help someone out there unlock the creative voice within. To enter the drawing, just leave a comment or like/share this post so I know you're real. ❤️ I hope these poetry prompts help you!
(I'll enter your name twice if you tag someone else who might benefit from this resource.)
@DeborahFW Explaining 'I'm a feminist but...' to my 13yo daughter. She says, "So... I'm a feminist but I want a big manly man to turn up and solve all my problems?" Yup. Nailed it.
