!Here's the hard truth: you cannot make a probabilistic model deterministically obey prose.!

[moon @moondmullins]

@PerceptualPeak @hoshi_ni_te_wo I will never understand why people allow destructive commands or edits to run autonomous when you can just sweep to a recycle folder on a 48 hour timer or manually purge.

Why probabilistic machine no deterministic?! posts, daily.

@Object_Zero_ I should've clarified what I mean by the "dozens of shops". I mean dozens of shops in a town of 20-30k people. No doubt this is similar nationwide. Everything from gun smiths, job shops, hobby shops that turn a profit, etc...

[moon @moondmullins]

@Object_Zero_ Not being rude, I’m not sure how they are even viable? It must require heroic sacrifice from everyone involved. <- This is hyperbole right? My entire career has been in shops with 10-20 machinists and there are dozens of shops with less then 5 straight crushing it 5 days a week.

[moon @moondmullins]

@slimer48484 Oh? Do tell, interested on the rest of the thought? Stupid because it's poking the bear? Ripping off proprietary software? Or a futile effort that's producing trash code?

[moon @moondmullins]

@r14now @Object_Zero_ 💯

[moon @moondmullins]

@3sloth3 Neon nail polish. Started painting that little torx screw for insert holders because without fail; it slips through the scaffolding boards, 20' to the ground, into a pile of bird nest chips. *every time*.

@naomibrockwell ❤️‍🔥

[moon @moondmullins]

@Johnrobholmes One mans mess; another mans envy 👀

[moon @moondmullins]

@Johnrobholmes @_Stocko_ real ones know. 😎

I'm in the middle of it myself :p

[moon @moondmullins]

@OSHBuilt Ye, the whole premise of Americans needing to modernize and distill manufacturing from 5-10 man shops into 500+ man shops is utter trash and devoid of any understanding for America, its spirit, or its people.

[moon @moondmullins]

@Johnrobholmes @_Stocko_ mine is needing to refactor a week later, continuing to build and delaying for a month then spending 2 days doing it instead of 20 minutes :p

[moon @moondmullins]

@Johnrobholmes Also, thanks for sharing 🥰

[moon @moondmullins]

@Johnrobholmes That's cool af. Would be interested in some more demonstrations if you have time. Have a back burner project to annotate SW drawings w/custom balloon notes instead of using the BOM with scripts.

Gentle suggestion instead of phone: https://t.co/KXwVdyyyOu

[moon @moondmullins]

@MooncastOnline @nabeelqu ahh, come on guy. Don't do the hacky generational hate thing back and forth. Peeps are peeps; old and young.

[moon @moondmullins]

@Johnrobholmes @CliftonSellers Feel this comment about opus in my bones, started on 4.1 though

[moon @moondmullins]

@isabelleboemeke Need tunnels built everywhere to facilitate this to individual neighborhood and city hubs, from there maintenance tunnels that connect everything. All utilities (water, power, fiber, etc...) with a full subterranean emergency residence where people can hang out. Mole people.

[moon @moondmullins]

@1337hero @PeterMcCormack AI being the death of bureaucracy may be the greatest gift to mankind. Fingers crossed.

[moon @moondmullins]

@1337hero @PeterMcCormack That's fair, accounting seems like one of the easiest fields to automate. It's structured by defined rules, involves basic math, and the biggest moat is industry jargon.

[moon @moondmullins]

@1337hero @PeterMcCormack Bro, I'm a welder. I brute force AI solutions with copy paste prompting fueled by caffeine, nicotine, and stupidity.
