We’ve been working on a MVP rewriting the whole app from scratch and it’s going great!

Lots of fun doing the v3, v2 makes me sad 😅

This time we’re using React for the Desktop version (v2 uses VueJS) and the plan is to have a Mobile version that will sync the data if possible

@bobartlett I’ve been working a lot with NextJS and React in my job and I really like it. Just a personal taste, both framework would have work tbh

We’ve been experimenting with a new framework for Moonitor Version 3.

Some thought:

- dropping Electron for @TauriApps
- dropping Vue for React
- still targeting all desktop platforms
- if Tauri delivers mobile support as supposed too, we’ll ship to mobile too 🔥
- no ETA

@Manakis_ Yes! But not soon. We’d love to work on full new mobile version as a first step.
Then full rewrite of the desktop and make both platform sync.

We don’t know the when, but that’s our goal.
