Good morning!
As we start this new day, let's remember that God's love and mercies are new every morning!
"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." - Lamentations 3:22-23
Presidency spokesperson Vincent Magwenya stated that President Cyril Ramaphosa will not engage with AfriForum and Solidarity, alleging that these groups intentionally spread misinformation about South Africa and its legal framework, particularly regarding the Expropriation Act.

A white person that moved with his family to the US being humbled by comedian Lucas Zelnik. He suggests he moves to Israel. @elonmusk@afriforum@POTUS@realDonaldTrump
This is how Black South Africans were treated by white South Africans during apartheid. Claims about Black people killing and displacing White people in South Africa are completely false. The call for Trump to impose sanctions and cut aid as a form of revenge is misguided and disgraceful. Do not be deceived—there is no genocide taking place in South Africa.
So Musk and Trump are targeting SA, and the economists are predicting gloom and catastrophe. Meanwhile, the Rand strengthens, and the JSE rises. What's going on, pray?
Can We Show Appreciation To All White Afrikaners who Stand with South Africa 🇿🇦 against Trump and Elon lying about Genocide in our country, They refusing to let him destroy what we stand for as a nation, and wanting Farmers to Go to USA 🇺🇸 They make us feel united as Black people
MY DAILY LETTER: The little racist can’t hide it anymore. Now, they’re pushing hate against South Africa, spreading the false claim that there’s a genocide against white people there. This is pure nonsense, and here’s why.
South Africa is recovering from the horrors of apartheid, when Black people were treated like second-class citizens by the Afrikaners. Under apartheid, Black people couldn’t own land, couldn’t go to school, and were denied basic rights simply because of their skin color.
When Nelson Mandela became president in 1994, he didn’t take revenge on those who had oppressed his people. Instead, he chose peace. He knew that the country needed healing, not more division. Mandela promoted forgiveness and reconciliation, uniting a country that had been torn apart.
Today, South Africa is working on land reforms to give everyone—Black, white, and brown—equal access to land and opportunities. Is the country perfect? No. Crime is still high, and wealth is still concentrated in the hands of a few. But are white South Africans being specifically targeted or killed because of their skin color? No.
Spreading racism disguised as patriotism or love for white people is dangerous. It fuels division and distracts from the real progress South Africa is making. It’s a lie, and it’s harmful.
So, what’s the U.S. national interest here? Should we go to war with South Africa, a country that has solid relationships with the rest of Africa? Should we impose sanctions and cut off the little aid we send there? Or should we work to help South Africa fix its imperfections and continue building a country where all people, regardless of race, can live together and thrive?
Let’s stop the hate. South Africa has come a long way, and they’re still working hard to move forward. We should support that, not tear it down with lies and division. Peace and honesty are the only way forward.
I welcome the engagement with @EUCOPresident António Costa and his encouragement on the formation of the GNU as a demonstration of South Africa’s strong commitment to democracy and the rule of law.
South Africa and the @EuropeanUnion share the same values of democracy, human rights, dignity and equality.
I look forward to our South Africa-EU Summit on 13th March 2025, to consolidate our strong bilateral partnership and to discuss, regional developments as well as continental and global issues.
I also look forward to working together with the leadership of the EU in ensuring a successful #G20 in line with our chosen theme and in tackling the most pressing global challenges.
