@PhotonBull I would challenge you on the manufacturing ramp up. June 17 they said they were working through BB37. Today, 3 weeks later, only through BB38. Managements talks about 6/mo. Regardless, launch cadence may not be able to keep up with six per month
@Networkninja2k@AST_SpaceMobile I'm not talking about holding shipments. Execs have talked about manufacturing six sats per month. We added one to the manufacturing cadence in the last three weeks.
Maybe we've slowed down because changes are being incorporated? Launch cadence can't keep up with six per
@CatSE___ApeX___ Unfortunately manufacturing cadence is not meeting their six per month as they mentioned working through BB37 initially on June 17. Three weeks later and we are only on BB38.
Now, should be fine because launch cadence isn't but every 7 weeks(?) for now.
@alexdbanks A good, large, mature business knows what its core business is. They don't just try to break into something they have no knowledge of. Maybe they would purchase their own ASTS but typically these companies stick with what they know.
@BlackScholesMan@WaltzDisneyz I think that is the initial short term, like early to mid 2027 target. The potential, if it reaches its potential, is much higher.
@tottaway22 So this party was in Indonesia where some of the worst natural disasters ever have occurred? May 2026 they regulated that the 700 mhz frequency be allocated to international mobile comms. Appears that ASTS has an MOU with IOH in place
@PhotonBull Ramping up, yes, but not where they said we would be yet with only 3 sats going up every other month right now. Still, nice to see cadence increasing from a historical perspective.
@Chartradamus Appreciate your insight. Wondering if, since we have some relevance to a basket of space stocks, all space stocks are here or just ASTS.
Also, does news, if any, have any breaking capabilities on trends?
@spacanpanman April 19: ASTS says they are working on BB's through BB 32
May 11: working through BB 33
June 17: working through BB 37
Looks like manufacturing cadence has increased based on the press releases and we can expect shipments regularly from Midland.
@JonHodgkins3@SpaceMobileShow@ASTS_SpaceMob Abel is a CEO of a publicly traded company. He will sell of the board says sell. His priorities have to be in the best interest of the shareholders. May not be what he wants but what he has to do.
@thekookreport My guess they won't announce until they confirm sats are successfully in orbit. It would be terrible press to send another batch for launch if these three don't make orbit.
