This bar of metal in the grounds of St Mary Redcliffe is a piece of tram line that was thrown there after a WWII bomb exploded several streets away.
It is now preserved as a monument to all that was lost in the Blitz and as a reminder of how close the church came to destruction.

@BBCBreaking The national minimum wage and the national living wage are two different things. It is misleading, dare I say even a lie, to state that the living wage, which has recently been at over £12, will rise to £11.44 which is blatantly just the minimum wage. Do better @BBCBreaking
