Excited to share that I have been selected for the TMS Early Career Faculty Fellow award @TMSSociety. I will be presenting a lecture on "The Power of Instability: Non-Equilibrium Dynamics in Additive Manufacturing and Professional Development" at the conference next year.

Professor Atieh Moridi from Cornell University was our @JHUMaterials seminar speaker this afternoon. She talked about her group's research in characterizing metal additive manufacturing with operando X-ray diffraction.
I had a wonderful time visiting @Livermore_Lab and @JPLNASA last week . A big thank you to Manyalibo Matthews and Douglas Hofmann for hosting my visit. I gained a lot of insights from the amazing work being done in the field of #additivemanufacturing at these two places.
The image on the left depicts Explorer 1, the first satellite successfully launched by the United States in 1958. This achievement actually set the stage for the creation of the NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
