@lvl2boss@SSD_2X@Lets_Talk_HC Mormon inventions? It’s a text using a star as a symbol for Christ. That symbol certainly isn’t unique to Latter-day Saints (Revelation 16:22).
@ggbackpackers@DiscipleFidei Genesis 3:22
Christ comes to earth in the form of a man. Dies and is resurrected with a body in the form of man. Mankind will one day die and be resurrected, and despite Christ showing the way, you still don’t think his atonement is sufficient enough for us to become like him?
@Latterdaytruth I took a break from here because I could hardly stand the constant lies about us from other faiths. But Chuck’s passing has pushed me to come back and interact more with those who fault us.
@lvl2boss@Lets_Talk_HC I asked for contradictions between the Book of Mormon and the Bible. That means you show a doctrine in the Bible and then show how the Book of Mormon contradicts it with specific verses. You’ve listed zero so far.
@lvl2boss@Lets_Talk_HC First, I asked for contradictions in the Book of Mormon, and you brought up a doctrine not taught in the Book of Mormon.
Secondly, we agree with the scriptures you posted. There is no marriage in the resurrection.
@Salt_n_Smoke “Author” is not a doctrinal statement, but a legal one for copyright purposes. That’s why the Witness statements in the 1830 addition also include Jospeh Smith as the book’s translator.
