“Putin is a traitor to Russia
Hundreds of thousands of our soldiers are dead. He’s killing Ukrainian children too.
We need to rise up against him. There’s 140 mln of us. I’m not afraid. I’m too old for that.”
82-y-o Russian woman after Navalny’s murder
Reports of Alexei Navalny’s death are tragic and horrifying. An unwavering advocate for Russian democracy and freedom, his courage was unparalleled.
To be clear: He should never have been imprisoned to begin with. Let this be an important reminder that we must continue to promote, protect, and defend democracy everywhere. The consequences of not doing so are stark.
I’m sending my deepest condolences to Alexei Navalny’s family – and to all those around the world who had championed his pursuit of justice. Canada remains committed to holding Putin responsible for his actions.
So lemme get this straight, for all the people at the back of the auditorium:
Pierre Poilievre is clearly:
✅ Homophobic
✅ Anti-immigration
✅ Anti-gun control
✅ Refers Quebec as “separatists”
✅ A maniacal “conservative”
✅ A pathological liar
✅ A sociopathic creep
Got it.
@MurderBotBot N.B.: if Murderbot were human, it would be a sociopath. That's why it's a valuable resource but also an easily bored and dysfunctional one. I'm a big fan of Murderbot!
@YourAlberta The UCP has done a great job of mismanaging governing Alberta. I absolutely don't trust them to establish and and administer a Provincial Pension Plan!!!
Why is Danielle Smith so intent on wasting your time & $?
"there are no compelling arguments for creating a provincial tax agency.
[It] would mean significant costs to taxpayers & new layers of additional red tape for individuals & businesses."

Leaving the CPP would be terrible and risky for Alberta retirees and anybody who will be a retiree in the future. It's a terrible idea and it's bizarre that the Smith government is so attached to it.
Albertans have been clear - they don't want the UCP messing with their CPP or an AB Revenue Agency.
They do want their provincial government to address the ongoing crisis in healthcare.
Guess which Danielle Smith seems to be prioritizing first?
