I just received this letter from @LAGovJeffLandry @JeffLandry, where he boasts about signing into law "the largest package of bills to stop frivolous lawsuits in Louisiana's history." I'm actually glad to see this package pass as he can now STOP BLAMING ME for high auto insurance rates in Louisiana! And I'm looking forward to my rates going down! Let me know if your rates go down, too!

Remember, NO state in America has ever been able to reduce insurance rates by passing tort reform laws. Good luck!!!

I’m still waiting for the governor to give me the name of one Louisiana automobile insurance company, just one, that agrees to reduce their premiums if any of his tort reform laws pass!! No state in America has ever been able to pass tort reform laws that resulted in a reduction in premiums.
Bottom line- they ain’t reducing their premiums!
