JUST IN: 13 Penn State fraternity brothers charged with running a major cocaine trafficking ring, with some pledges allegedly forced to cut & package cocaine as part of their “indoctrination” into the frats.

One of the core challenges of running a service marketplace is seasonality, and it goes beyond just “busy months” and “slow months.”
We analyzed thousands of job posts on Sweeps, and a few patterns jumped out:
- Jobs are often posted in the afternoon, particularly early in the week
- Jobs tend to start in the morning, with Saturday mornings being the busiest
And that’s just part of it. We also see big swings by day of the month and time of year. For example, July 1st and August 1st are consistently among the biggest moving days annually.
This kind of data helps us plan pricing, staffing, recruiting, and operations more intelligently.
Curious how others here handle seasonality. What’s worked for you?
Sometimes a picture is worth 1,000 words. Now at Sweeps
you can show us and not just tell us with up to 5 file attachments on jobs.
Show us just how much mulch you have, or the size of the junk pile that needs hauling.
Sweepers can also submit photo time clocks and timesheets for better communication and fewer surprises.
@BillDA Hey Bill, we are going to delete your NC ID for no reason at all within 7 days if you don't login. We're also going to make logging in nearly impossible.
Posting jobs is a bit easier today with new Scheduling Tags for common timing options like ASAP, Flexible, and Recurring.
Like Job Templates, this is part of a broader effort to replace typing with clickable elements, and to surface different ways to use Sweeps.
This one is especially satisfying as we launched it a few days ago and already more than half of jobs are posted with Scheduling Tags.
We shipped a quick feature at Sweeps today for marketplace trust after a customer requested it yesterday: Private Notes on Sweeper Reviews.
The vast majority of feedback we get is positive, but sometimes customers want to share candid context without writing a public review or reaching out on another channel. Private Notes give customers a simple way leave internal communication for our support team only. We never know what is going to happen next but we always appreciate the feedback!
Sweepers have had a private notes section on their timesheets for years, and now customers do too.
