BREAKING: Rep. James Walkinshaw TORCHES Republicans for considering a presidential pardon for convicted child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.

No matter what, we cannot allow this travesty to happen...

"Ghislaine Maxwell is a monster. She facilitated, aided, and abetted Epstein's crimes, engaged in those crimes. She was the enforcer who threatened the victims and the survivors of those crimes," Walkinshaw told reporters.

"And President Trump could end that today. He could rule out clemency for Ghislaine Maxwell, the monster. He could rule out a pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell, the monster," he continued. "The question for all of us today is why hasn't he done that, and why won't he do that?"

The answer to that rhetorical question is obvious: Trump isn't ruling out a pardon because he's actively considering one. He has already stated that he has the power to pardon her if he chooses. He knows that it would be deeply unpopular, but he also knows that he can hammer out a backroom deal with Maxwell in which she agrees to remain silent about his personal relationship and predations with Epstein.

It would be the most blatant quid pro quo imaginable, a grave miscarriage of justice, and the ultimate insult to the many victims of Epstein and Maxwell — some of whom are no longer alive today.

"Ghislaine Maxwell exploited and abused women and children," Walkinshaw wrote on x. "Donald Trump and Oversight Republicans are entertaining a pardon for her. It’s sick.We will oppose any effort to erase responsibility for these crimes."

Yesterday, House Oversight Commitee Chairman James Comer revealed that a "lot of people" like the idea of giving Maxwell a pardon in return for testimony about Epstein. Her attorney has stated that she will not testify without clemency. Of course, we wouldn't be able to trust that testimony anyway, since the man who would be signing the pardon appears countless times in the Epstein files.

“My committee’s split on that. I don’t speak for my committee," Comer said, adding that he doesn't support a pardon because it "looks bad."

“Honestly, other than Epstein, the worst person in this whole investigation is Maxwell," he said.

Maxwell must not be pardoned. She deserves to spend every single day of her twenty year sentence behind bars. Even then, she'd be getting off easy.
