KENAPA MALAYSIA TAK BOLEH “SAMAR-SAMAR” DALAM ISU CHINA–TAIWAN? 🇲🇾🇨🇳🇹🇼

Ramai bercakap tentang kenyataan PMX, tetapi lupa satu perkara, pendirian Malaysia terhadap China-Taiwan bukan bermula dengan Anwar.

Pada 1949, perang saudara China berakhir dengan Parti Komunis menguasai tanah besar China, manakala Kuomintang berundur ke Taiwan. Wujudlah dua kerajaan yang menggunakan nama China PRC di Beijing dan ROC di Taipei.

Pada 1971, PBB melalui Resolusi 2758 mengiktiraf PRC sebagai wakil China di PBB.

Kemudian pada 1974, Malaysia menjalin hubungan diplomatik dengan Beijing.

Sejak itu, Malaysia mengiktiraf PRC dan tidak mengiktiraf Taiwan sebagai sebuah negara berdaulat secara diplomatik.

Sebab itu kita ada Kedutaan China, tetapi bukan Kedutaan Taiwan. Yang ada ialah Taipei Economic and Cultural Office.

Jadi apabila PMX mengulangi pendirian One China, itu bukan dasar baharu.

Itulah dasar Malaysia yang telah berjalan lebih 50 tahun.

Tapi jangan pula salah faham.

One China tak bermakna Malaysia wajib menyokong setiap tindakan China.

Malaysia masih boleh,
-menerima pelaburan Taiwan
-berdagang dengan Taiwan
-bekerjasama dalam teknologi
-menjalinkan hubungan rakyat-ke-rakyat

Dalam masa yang sama, Malaysia boleh menyeru keamanan dan penyelesaian secara aman di Selat Taiwan.

Jadi persoalannya bukan..

“Malaysia pilih China atau Taiwan?”

Tetapi,

“Adakah Malaysia mahu mengubah dasar luar yang telah dipegang lebih 50 tahun?”

Jawapannya jelas.

Tidak.

Kita boleh berkawan dengan semua.

Kita boleh berniaga dengan semua.

Tetapi dalam soal dasar luar, Malaysia mesti tahu pendirian sendiri bukan mengikut tekanan China, Amerika atau mana-mana kuasa besar.

Dengan China kita berdagang.
Dengan Taiwan kita bekerjasama.
Dengan Amerika kita berkawan.
Tetapi kepentingan Malaysia tetap nombor satu. 🇲🇾

Was he wrong? Is there anything wrong with the "One China" policy that Malaysia has consistently upheld? Why are some people demanding an apology from him?

According to a report by Malaysia's *The Star* on August 20, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar stated that day that despite the controversy sparked by his remarks regarding the Taiwan issue, he stands by his previous statements. He believes China's position aligns with the stance the United States took after its War of Independence, when it refused to allow any of its territories to secede.

Anwar noted that Malaysia has adhered to the "One China" policy since the administration of its second Prime Minister, Tun Abdul Razak Hussein, and will continue to maintain this position. "The 'One China' policy has been in place since the time of Tun Abdul Razak. In my view, this policy will not change, and we will continue to uphold it."

Anwar also defended his earlier comparison of the issue to the U.S. experience, stating that he was simply maintaining a consistent stance regarding territorial integrity. "I believe this position is correct. As I pointed out earlier, the United States itself went through a War of Independence and subsequently did not allow any of its territories to break away. Therefore, all I did was adopt a consistent position," he said.

Anwar added that Malaysia respects China's position but believes a peaceful resolution remains the best option—a direction China is currently striving to pursue. He emphasized that Malaysia's stance is neither new nor unusual, noting that the "One China" policy is also accepted within the framework of the United Nations.

In reality, it is not that the United States and its Western allies fail to understand these simple truths or the provisions of the UN Charter; rather, allowing Taiwan to "maintain the status quo" while pursuing "de facto independence" through "salami-slicing" tactics maximizes the benefits of their strategy to contain China. Given this objective, no display of hypocrisy or double standards on their part is surprising.

@benedictrogers The truth? Let's see. The UN chose to recognise PRC only & rejected Taiwan's membership. Only 11 countries have official diplomatic relations with Taiwan. The balance 180 nations decided not to. THAT'S WHO !! Not just M'sian PM. Been like that for decades!

Al Jazeera did not interview Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

It interrogated him for failing to perform the anti-China script properly.

Why do you trade with China?
Why aren’t you balancing China?
Why aren’t you tougher on China?
Why don’t you accept the Taiwan framing we hand you?

And Anwar kept giving the same answer in different forms:

Because Malaysia has its own foreign policy.

You can have disputes with China without turning China into an existential enemy.

You can trade with China without becoming its puppet.

You can support the One-China principle without accepting Western framing on Taiwan.

You can disagree with Beijing and still refuse to join Washington’s containment theater.

The interviewer’s real frustration was obvious:

Malaysia would not hate China on command.

What the hell kind of question is that? Why does this Al Jazeera journalist harbor such blatant hostility toward China? Are they simply brainwashed by the Western ideological framework? Or do they represent a broader undercurrent of anti-China sentiment within the Arab world? If it's the latter, then what right do Muslim countries have to criticize China for not sanctioning Israel? I don't see any Muslim nation stepping up to support China's sanctions against Japan, on the contrary, I think the relationship between Japan and Muslim countries is generally good. You know we are not happy about that, right?

时评：半岛电视台的“审讯”翻车了：一个印度裔记者的傲慢，撞上了马来西亚总理的铁壁

看完半岛电视台英语频道对马来西亚总理安瓦尔·易卜拉欣的专访，我只想说一句话：这哪是采访？这分明是一场精心设计的“意识形态审讯”！

印度裔主持人斯里尼瓦桑·简（Sreenivasan Jain）从一开始就带着西方剧本上场：台湾民调、台独情绪、同情独立、谴责武力……一套标准的“民主自由”话术，试图把安瓦尔逼到墙角，逼他表态反对中国、同情“台独”。结果呢？安瓦尔一句“台湾是中国的一部分，必须由中国人来决定”，直接把整场戏砸得粉碎。

更绝的是，当主持人追问“你会同情台独吗”，安瓦尔当场反手一巴掌：这个问题本身就暗示了“阴谋甚至纵容分裂一个合法独立国家的企图”，我绝不接受！他还点破本质——这不过是殖民主义历史遗毒，我绝不会以任何方式纵容殖民主义。

再问中国不放弃武力？安瓦尔更直接：如果马来西亚某个州要分裂，我一样会动用武力维护国家统一和神圣性。主持人追问“所以你会用武力？”安瓦尔干脆利落：“是的，否则国家就会分崩离析。”

这就是真正的主权逻辑。不是双标，不是虚伪，而是所有正常国家都会做的事。
半岛电视台这次暴露的，不是“客观提问”，��是赤裸裸的偏见：

•选择性失明历史事实——联合国2758号决议、世界上绝大多数国家承认的一个中国原则，在主持人嘴里统统不存在。台湾问题是中国内战遗留，是中国人自己的家务事，不是西方可以随意“自决”的殖民地。
•双重标准到令人作呕：美国内战打了四年、英国对苏格兰、西班牙对加泰罗尼亚，哪一次西方媒体会逼着领导人“同情分裂”？偏偏对中国，就非要装出一副“普世人权卫士”的样子。
•把采访变成逼供：为什么不按西方脚本恨中国？为什么不加入遏制中国的大合唱？马来西亚有自己的国家利益、有自己的外交自主，难道也要先过“西方审查”？
安瓦尔的回答之所以犀利，正是因为他戳破了最大的谎言：主权不能选择性适用，原则不能只属于西方。全球南方国家越来越不愿意再当西方剧本的配角。马来西亚坚持一个中国，不是讨好北���，而是尊重历史、尊重国际法、尊重自己作为主权国家的尊严。

这场采访的真正赢家不是半岛电视台，而是安瓦尔。他用冷静、坚定、不卑不亢的姿态，告诉全世界：我们不需要别人教我们什么是“正确”的立场。台湾问题由中国人决定，这才是最基本的事实与逻辑。

西方媒体可以继续自嗨，继续用“民主”包装地缘政治私货。但现实是，越来越多的国家已经看穿了这套把戏。安瓦尔的回答，不是一个人的观点，而是全球南方集体觉醒的声音。
