@_zaraalim Babu tilas, but it’s highly encouraged because of the immense rewards. After all, who wouldn’t want their sins forgiven? And no one will see you as less of a Muslim if you choose not to fast on Arafah. People are only surprised because you’re missing out on a great opportunity.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ الْمَسْأَلَةِ، وَخَيْرَ الدُّعَاءِ، وَخَيْرَ النَّجَاحِ، وَخَيْرَ الْعَمَلِ، وَخَيْرَ الثَّوَابِ، وَخَيْرَ الْحَيَاةِ، وَخَيْرَ الْمَمَاتِ، وَثَبِّتْنِي، وَثَقِّلْ مَوَازِينِي، وَحَقِّقْ إِيمَانِي، وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتِي، وَتَقَبَّلْ صَلَاتِي، وَاغْفِرْ خَطِيئَتِي، وَأَسْأَلُكَ الدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلَى مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ فَوَاتِحَ الْخَيْرِ وَخَوَاتِمَهُ، وَجَوَامِعَهُ، وَأَوَّلَهُ وَآخِر��هُ، وَظَاهِرَهُ وَبَاطِنَهُ، وَالدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلَى مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا آتِي وَخَيْرَ مَا أَفْعَلُ وَخَيْرَ مَا أَعْمَلُ، وَخَيْرَ مَا ��َطَنَ وَخَيْرَ مَا ظَهَرَ، وَالدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلَى مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَرْفَعَ ذِكْرِي، وَتَضَعَ وِزْرِي، وَتُصْلِحَ أَمْرِي، وَتُطَهِّرَ قَلْبِي، وَتُحَصِّنَ فَرْجِي، وَتُنَوِّرَ لِي قَلْبِي، وَتَغْفِرَ لِي ذَنْبِي، وَالدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلَى مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُبَارِكَ لِي فِي نَفْسِي، وَفِي سَمْعِي، وَفِي بَصَرِي، وَفِي رُوحِي، وَفِي خَلْقِي، وَفِي خُلُقِي، وَفِي أَهْلِي، وَفِي مَحْيَايَ، وَفِي مَمَاتِي، وَفِي عَمَلِي، وَتَقَبَّلْ حَسَنَاتِي، وَالدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلَى مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ.

Pointing out a public sin is mandatory for every Muslim. Yes, some people may be harsh or wrong in their approach while practising it, but that does not justify denying the concept itself. Rejecting a clearly established principle of the religion can even reach the level of Kufr.
