@AvidCommentator private project ⬇️ estimate likely deliberate. private lending ⬇️, to avoid full M2/M3/GDP recoil, gov must spend more. Depts staff wages ⬆️ (happening) and spend more on contracted projects. Committing with contrived low $ likely deliberate. Lynn Alden writes about this train
@ausstockchick This caused a depression in Australia worse than the 1930’s (which was server in the U.S. but less so than here). Pure property speculation.
Because there is no path to decarbonisation it’s a fantasy that bureaucrats have invented. We literally don’t have the raw materials to build out a decarbonisation of civilisation .
We need copper production of around 100m ton Pa to decarbonise , we are struggling to produce 25m tonne . We need 4-500% more sulphuric acid to do the acid leaching to produce the copper , sulphuric acid ironically comes fossil fuel production .
@SantiagoAuFund And as an outsider I can’t tell you how much it’s appreciated. Coming from a science and legal background, the Eurodollar/milkshe was the most fascinating thing I have read. Along with some of werner’s work, Michael every. Mike greens. And others). My fund is up

@brucefenton nobody is "blaming" them. The resentment stems from their sense of entitlement after "working hard for it". everyone works hard. they bought at 4 times average income. now youngsters pay 12 times and unlikley to get cap gain of past while being lectured on hard work and avacados
@AlanKohler@abcnews Well, that’s not quite right. “prices have gone up 35% in five years so who cares for a 10% fall”. “Still up big, amirite?” I am stunned u said this. Becuase now we are extremely more leveraged in debt since then-tye cause of up. So it does matter. Bigly
