I hate the “no straw” fad, cont.; a customer asked me to switch the lids on her drink because she didn’t want to use a straw. Which meant I had to throw away the lid that was already on there & just replace it with another lid that was also going to get thrown away

Use your brains. The most environmentally friendly product is ALWAYS the one that you ALREADY own. Yeah, I pack my lunch in plastic Tupperware everyday. Why would I buy some trendy steel container when these are working fine. I’ll buy something sustainable when those wear out.
