@TheRustler83 But the problem with the graphs and my simplistic take is a lack of context. What about relaxation of lockdown rules (late 2021)? Reopening of border (mid 2022)? Age stratification in the data? Effect of treatment delay in chronic disease?

@TheRustler83 So before vaccines, the covid case related mortality was 1.2% and after vaccines it dropped to 0.14%. If it had stayed at 1.2%, then you would have expected 29,000 dead and instead only 3393 died. Sounds like vaccines prevented 25k deaths.

We've known for a while that short sleep leads to earlier mortality. Now, we've found that irregular sleep is actually an even stronger predictor of mortality.
Why? Probably circadian disruption.
We may need a rethink on which dimensions of sleep matter the most for health.
