@ebassi Being one of the Winamp (no uppercase A btw) UI devs at the time I quite enjoyed your post. I've abandoned Windows more than a decade ago and with a perfectly organized music collection (both FS & tags) I found gmusicbrowser2 a good substitute. Nowadays just streaming TBH 😉

Oh... I've forgotten this really ugly brightness slider that looks like a button at max. The font of the 4G/5G label being slightly larger than the font of the clock. App headerbars containing ~100dpx dead top spacing, presumably to justify these huge displays nowadays

Sorry Google, but #MaterialYou is one of the worst designs I've seen in years. Squircle hoover shape for circular buttons. No choice to pick colors besides 4 pastel tones. Too spacious & childish layout. Only 4 quick access tiles due to useless button text. To be continued...
