The Aeldari have no rights to their unearned arrogance. Everything special about them was given to them by space lizards. They managed to inherit an entire galaxy with no true enemies left to face and managed to screw everything up ten fold compared to humanities greatest blunders all by themselves.

And to prove how inept they are without the space lizards instead of rebuilding their society, they just wallow in its ruins and talk about how great they used to be whilst still having the gall to claim they're more evolved and better than everyone else.
