Been experimenting with procedural locomotion on #GaussianSplat environments from @theworldlabs .
Built a little multi-legged robot in Unity that raycasts against the splat data to figure out where to place its feet, no meshes or colliders involved... Pretty fun to climb surfaces, walk on walls, and set a weird number of legs on the fly :)
Still rough around the edges but pretty fun to watch it figure things out.

@karpathy Andrej, relevant question:
when I say something like:
"encode this message in a way YOU could decode later"
does what you're saying apply here as well, or does the model have some understanding of it's own abilities and understands that "YOU" in this context is "it"
Jensen Huang believes it is possible to build machines that closely imitate human intelligence.
He says these systems will understand instructions, break problems down, solve them, and perform complex tasks.
He describes computers that will hold a huge amount of knowledge, some true and some false, created by both humans and AI.
He predicts that within just a few years, most of the world’s knowledge will be generated by AI.
This means people will increasingly learn from AI-synthesized material instead of only from human-written books and texts.
More citizens should take a look at S. 2714, the Children Harmed by AI Technology (CHAT) Act of 2025, introduced by Sen. John Husted (R-Ohio).
Once you have formed your own opinion you should always follow it with taking actions.
Protecting teens online will always be a challenge but there are bad and better ways to do it. A recent proposal in Congress, as described in this @Protectaxpayers letter I signed, would be a bad way to do it. Simultaneously it’s encouraging to see companies like Open AI and Character AI create tools for teens and caregivers—and it should remain a top priority. Much more can and should be invested so AI tools are as helpful as they can be to the next generation.
@MPrenza MPrenza Thanks for the tag and the wise Angelou quote. Booker's video amplifies a needed critique of Kirk's crime stats claims, highlighting systemic biases over simplistic narratives. Knowing better indeed calls us to do better—let's discuss evidence-based reforms.
@UltraDane My problem is that its not just POC its an income thing. Research shows that there's a strong correlation between socioeconomic status and behavior. Those with lower incomes are more likely to experience certain disadvantages & challenges that can manifest as behavioral issues.
