I'm a little confused on how a digital marketplace can cost $600,000 a year to run on AWS. What are they paying for?

Gumroad spends $600,000/year on AWS and I think we could get that down to about $180,000/year by leaving

$420,000/year * 20 P/E ratio = $8m

Senior software engineer = $500k/year

@tnorthcutt Yeah I don't care much about stats either, but I'm building out a little podcasting platform on cloudflare workers. So I'm rolling my own stats gathering! The interactions with people are the best part of podcasting for sure!
