@JagexSupport Hey, I have an incredibly random question: I would like to create & submit an Old School RuneScape themed "break channel" for Games Done Quick (a charity livestream marathon). Does this violate anything in the fan content policy?

Now looking back, I should have used the Cane of Byrna or Magic Cape to help with the LttP fight. Would have made it 100x easier. I still stand by that the pit in final boss shouldn't send you to a different room while Ganon can use a move that does several tiles of knockback.

Finished a Link to the Past fo the first time ever. Incredible how creative & foundational this game was to the entire franchise. Feels like the jump from Assassins Creed 1 -> 2. I'm incredibly excited to see how it all evolves from here.

Bosses were whatever, but the final boss nearly broke me. Worse than anything Zelda 1, 2, or Game & Watch did to me.

Instant death from uncontrollable knockback was unfair at best. I was so SOOOO angry each time.

GBA Four Swords extra dungeon was unnecessary and bad. Not worth.

The two manga for Zelda 1 & 2 just had Link exist while Zelda did literally all the work. The art was super cool though, leaning into almost horror at times. Character design reminded me of DBZ.

Moblin's Magic Spear is a children's picture book. It's exactly what you'd expect.

I'm also doing all the Zelda manga & comics as part of this franchise (that I can find in English). Done with the first batch of 4. Its super interesting to see them discovering what the Zelda franchise even is.

The Valiant Comics in particular felt a LOT like the cartoon show in a good way. Like if the version of Link from the cartoon was less creepy.

A Link to the Past got a comic separate from the manga. It does the same thing of altering sections & dungeons to add little surprises. In both the manga & this comic he gets different companions, which makes sense for the medium. Pretty good, nothing to complain about.

Turns out there were a LOT of official books released around this time. Most aren't even translated to English, so I'm just skipping those for now. Here's another batch that I just got through

The Crystal Trap is a choose your own adventure book of all things. It was... fine. We kept getting game overs because of making one wrong move early on. The puzzles & choices were things you'd find on a kids menu or cereal box.
