Gr6s @FredVarley doing a pond water study with the @TRCA_Edu. Students found dragonfly & damselfly nymphs and tested water for pH, as well as ppm of nitrates & phosphates. Lots of great results!
Love a good fraction talk! Lots of conversations around this image today. Thanks to @Pierre_Tranche for his https://t.co/CFyuKinqHv
What conversations do you think took place?
@mraspinall We need to change the assignments. Maybe have ChatGPT write a poem in the voice of a certain poet, and then compare how the language is used in the ChatGPT poem vs. a poem by that author. Use it, don't ban it.
@WillGourley Dear @oct please show us where these increased fees are going and how much goes to expensive rent for space not being filled by employees who likely work from home.
Happy 2023 @WillGourley! Hope you are well!
@MrFrascaD I have my students write a letter to someone they admire and ask for something (i.e. autographed picture). They have to research the address, label the envelope, and then I mail it. We get two or three responses every year. @billieeilish@jk_rowling@TheSimpsons have all replied.
@MrTBradford I wish my children's teachers did this too. So much absence, so much illness, so much stress. They hate missing school and hate that it's out of their control.
Students and families need less stress, not more.
@Dean_of_math It's probably not true. Teachers often think other people are doing better work than them, but I have found that we all have a unique perspective to offer. So, please don't be discouraged, I am sure you have plenty to share and to teach us!
