@MrHoggsClass@MrVmaths@MrO_Math21 I have spiralled in the same way ... it was amazing how much smoother the content seemed to go once the graphing was grouped together in the middle. Drew graphs in the earlier cycle too, but the learning focus was on the Algebra/Function skills then.
Thanks to @munakadri and @D16OSSTF for taking the time to share staffing information and budgeting constraints with the members. Getting information directly is very much appreciated. I am glad you are looking out for us.
@MaryBourassa Thanks for sharing @MaryBourassa . Your ideas always get me thinking of new ways to use the whiteboards -- I like when I happen to teach the same course as you :-). @ADenbleker have you seen this?

Three ways to re-purpose #homework as a safe space to make mistakes:
✅ Call it a "check for understanding" instead.
✅ Give students the answer in advance.
✅ Don't mark it.

If I was going to stop doing something as a teacher, it would be to stop assigning a grade, level, percent, mark, etc., and make sure the majority of the feedback is given during the learning process. School should be about learning, not getting the highest grade. #BookCampPD
Any day is a good day to discover the derivative of lnx at the whiteboards/SMARTboard in groups. Random groups today selected with playing cards. #thinkingclassroom@pgliljedahl@NCHS_CT

I really like this one as well for data that could be modelled with a quadratic.
@MrSurti@mrs_k_thompson Agree with both these statements. I tend to use the term scaled by a factor of 1/2 and just removing the compression and stretch vocabulary altogether.
Colleagues in @D16OSSTF please check out the weekly update and if you are interested in item #1 please register ASAP.
Also please let your colleagues know it's there and to also act ASAP if interested.
Great video message to members of @OSSTFd16 from @munakadri . Thank you for your never ending efforts to support us and regular communication. Pandemic learning will never be perfect but #HybridHurtsKids and isn't good for teachers either!
