@jasemonkey Say you drive a car worth £5k and put a massive dent in it so it’s now worth £4k. That doesn’t mean £1k in cash has gone somewhere. It’s a loss of value not a loss of cash. The stocks going down means the stocks are worth less if/when they are sold. No money has moved.
