The reason millennials are so nostalgic is that they got a brief taste of a world that wasn’t entirely controlled by the stupidest people who’ve ever lived.
Nobody tells you this: You can wake up and decide that's enough. Enough of the low standards. Enough of the bad habit. Enough of the outdated identity. Enough of whatever. You don't need some dramatic reason, either. It's perfectly reasonable to wake up one day, say "this no longer works for me," and make a change. You can reinvent yourself. Today, tomorrow, and as many times as you need to create the life you want.
I’m just repeating what a few other women already said out loud:
If Lindsay Clancy walks on this, every woman in a high-stakes job just got a new target on her back.
Female pilot? Cool. Now the first thing people will ask is whether she’s hormonal, postpartum, or one bad night from crashing a plane into a mountain.
Female president? You want the nuclear codes in the hands of someone who can snap and then call it “a psychosis”?
That’s the door this verdict opens. And it won’t close.
If she is not found guilty of murdering those three kids, women don’t get compassion.
We get suspicion. Forever.
Prosecute her as a murderer, or watch one “crazy bitch” torch the credibility of every woman who still has to prove she can be trusted with other people’s lives.
Un jurado de hombres te va a condenar si eres culpable.
Un jurado de mujeres te va a condenar si eres feo, si votaste al partido incorrecto o si le das malas vibraciones.
North Indian Brahmin-Thakur-Baniya NRIs support Modi not because they believe he brought development. They believe Brahmanical Sanatani dominance and the continuation of a system that made sure of their superiority in Indian society has increased after Modi came to power.
They also know India is not a place they would move back to,they wouldn't want their kids settling in India either.
They just wanna enjoy a comfortable life in Western countries, benefitting from the falling rupee when they visit India and at the same time feel satisfied seeing their preferred version of Sanatani culture becoming stronger back home.
We’ve been driven out of our bases, including the US Navy’s 5th Fleet HQ, and retired 4-stars are on TV saying we’ll never return. Our entire strategic position in the region, built up over decades, has been destroyed. The Islamic Republic is intact, and Iran retains the ability to replenish critical munitions from hardened sites that have proven to be beyond our reach.
Ben is not an analyst. His job, the reason he was given a platform and a paycheck, is to help manage the narrative to make sure we stay in the war. That’s it. Think of how well it’s worked so far: Our highest officials admit we only attacked Iran because Israel was about to do so, and yet Israel withdrew months ago and we’re still fighting their war for them. Ben’s role is to say whatever he has to say to keep it that way. The long-term effects on the United States are not his problem, he has a backup plan.
An 18-year-old girl named Roop Kanwar burned alive on her husband’s pyre in Deorala, Rajasthan.
On 4 September 1987 — eight months after marriage..
One day after he died of gastroenteritis.
The village called it sati. They said she walked in smiling in bridal clothes, held his head in her lap, and sat calmly while thousands watched.
Journalists found she hid in a barn, was dragged out, frothing at the mouth, screamed when the fire hit her, and tried to climb off. Logs and the crowd held her down.
If she had lived as a widow the in-laws would have lost the dowry — gold, TV, fridge, cash. Dead “goddess” kept the goods and turned the village into a pilgrimage site. They built a shrine, sold photos, drew 100,000–250,000 people. Politicians defended it. A new law banned sati and its glorification. 45 people were charged with murder, abetment, and celebration. Every single one walked free over 37 years. Last acquittals in 2024. Zero convictions.
Her brother said they were happy she became sati.
No one asked an 18-year-old husband to burn if the wife died first.
That is the whole story: property, pride, and a pyre. They didn’t just kill a girl. They turned her into a business and walked away clean.
If roles reversed even once, the custom would have died the same day. It survived because only she was disposable.
