Today in #Sikh History:
On this day in 1995, Bhai Jaswant Singh Khalra was abducted by the Panjab Police outside his home. He endured brutal torture for over a month before being extrajudicially murdered on October 27th, 1995. His body was never recovered.
Jaswant Singh Khalra became politically active after witnessing the aftermath of the Battle of Amritsar and the June 1984 Ghallughara. Following the killings of two of his colleagues by the police, Jaswant Singh began investigating the extrajudicial killings of Sikhs and their secret cremations. Through extensive research, he uncovered evidence that the Panjab Police had executed thousands of young Sikhs and disposed of their bodies without informing their families. Jaswant Singh bravely exposed this information to the world. The chilling response from the Panjab Police was, "If 25,000 have disappeared, it will be easy to make one more disappear too."
Three months before his abduction, Bhai Jaswant Singh had visited Canada to share his work. Many urged him to seek refugee status as his life was in grave danger. However, he responded that he had a duty to fulfill, and even in the face of death, he would continue his work. He believed that he couldn't carry out his mission from outside Panjab. In his final significant speech at the Ontario Khalsa Darbar Gurduara, he concluded: "The Khalsa was inaugurated to protect human rights, the human rights of the world. And if you cannot protect your own human rights, you will not be able to give any definition of the Khalsa to the world.”

Today marks 30 years since the disappearance and shaheedi (martyrdom) of Bhai Jaswant Singh Khalra.
Bhai Khalra courageously exposed the illegal abductions, killings, and secret cremations of thousands of Sikh youth by the Punjab Police during the 1980s and '90s. In 1995, the year of his shaheedi, he was invited to Canada by WSO to present his findings on human rights abuses in Punjab to the Canadian government.
His work shook the system. The then-Superintendent of Police in Tarn Taran, Ajit Sandhu, chillingly remarked:
"If 25,000 have disappeared, it will be easy to make one more disappear."
On September 6, 1995, Bhai Khalra was abducted from his home in Amritsar by plainclothes officers. He endured weeks of torture and was murdered on October 27, 1995.
Bhai Khalra once described himself as a single candle lighting the darkness. Through his sacrifice, countless more candles have been lit through every voice demanding justice.
Today marks 30 years since the shaheedi of Bhai Jaswant Singh Khalra.
He exposed India’s mass abductions, killings & secret cremations of Sikhs, taking his report worldwide. For telling the truth about the Sikh Genocide, he was abducted, tortured & murdered by police in 1995.
Sidhu Moosewala was the ONLY Panjabi artist to draw attention to India’s Weaponisation and theft of Panjab’s water - India Assassinated Sidhu Moosewala. All these Panjabi ‘ artists’ who are usually up India’s backside when it comes to being a slave are now posting about floods and rescue and relief well why don’t you actually expose why the floods occur ?! Instead of making silly somber videos with sad faces appealing for unity. Why not expose the fact that water is stored in dams by the tyrant India to be looted then let out when needed, to be used as a weapon against the Panjab & Sikhs. Maybe for once be loyal to the Panjab and Panth for the same India you clowns praise and post about doesn’t give a damn about you or your desire for validation from the Indian State. They flooded the Panjab on purpose and now are sending aid and condolences to a fellow tyrant Taliban regime in Afghanistan due to an earthquake there.
Khalistan is the only solution - get in line or loose your careers !! Thank you for your attention to this matter !!
29 lives lost in Panjab due to floods and Modi didn’t find time to write even 2 words of sympathy.
Looks like Afghanistan is closer than Amritsar for him.

Sunil Dutt was a great son of Punjab.
He was given a rousing reception at the Golden Temple in 1987, when he reached Amritsar after walking 2500 km for 76 days from Bombay, with a message of peace.
He was accompanied by his daughter in that scorching heat.

You stand with Indian farmers, you are a Khalistani.
You make "Panjab 95" to show the wrongs done by your own countrymen, the movie is stopped & you are a Khalistani.
You sing songs with "daru" like others do, you are slapped with notices because you can only say "peg" and "daru" in hindi or even better in bhojpuri!
You make a movie before tensions, release it only overseas to safeguard the hardwork and minimise the losses of fellow Indians who worked in the movie, you are still a Khalistani.
Conclusion is - You can do whatever and we will still call you Khalistani. Unless you join the washing machine party!
