Built Performance BLDR w/ @Replit to help ppl in mental health/performance (& adjacent fields) turn expertise into digital tools/scalable opportunities.
My journey learning to build it has been wild. I’d love to connect and help show more practitioners what’s possible. @amasad
It’s not that the world doesn’t care about men’s struggles, they just expect you to be unaffected by it. They ask “What’s wrong?” Then 5 minutes later it’s back to being a man.. This comes from both men and women. This definitely contributes to the 80%+ suicide rate for us…
As a leader, it’s not the fault of my constituents if they don’t see the bigger picture. I either need to paint it better for them or realize they’re the colors I don’t need to be using.
It’s crazy how a lot of you business owners and practitioners treat social media like it’s optional! It’s like not ever practicing but expecting to get drafted to the NFL.
Everybody wants to do what THEY want to do. But the problem with doing what YOU want to do is that it rarely gets you what you want and never gets you what you need. Think about it…
Why in mental health it’s always preached to do/be less. I always hear take time off, cancel this, worry about you
Why isn’t it ever to make your self more? More capable, more adaptable, more adequate? This way you don’t have to do less because the small things don’t affect you
Are you building a business or just cosplaying entrepreneurship to escape a job you hate? If it’s the latter, congrats! You got a hobby with a logo and taxes…
Dear Perfectionist:
Being a perfectionist is a great thing until things aren’t perfect! Unfortunately things are never perfect so you’re setting a standard that can never exist!
I never seen a problem I couldn’t eventually fix and never had a solution I couldn’t potentially come up with. Flexible thinking is the path to any goal, big or small!
Some said outwork the competition through better market positioning, others said make competition irrelevant through innovation. I chose to do both! While not an easier path, it made it nearly impossible to beat me on both fronts. Make your business so valuable they can’t say no!
The problem with new generation mental coaches (graduates <2010) is they think 1 on 1 sessions is the only way to impart their services. It’s 2025 and there’s dozens of mediums to reach and assist people. It’s time for some forward thinking. Mind.Body.1. will be on the forefront!
They said it would be lonely at the top, not because I left people behind! They just weren’t strong enough to make the climb! #noteveryonesupposedtogowithyou
2025 is upon us and my goal for Mind.Body.1. Is to certify 1000 mental coaches, neuro trainers, vision therapist, strength coaches, physical therapy and any other human performance specialist our methods. Are you going to get in with the future of performance or get left behind?
