The US just flipped the script. By seizing the actual scalable energy (US Gulf + Venezuelan heavy crude + Qatar offline for 5 years), America ensures the only baseload that matters stays under sovereign US control — not some greenwashed dependency racket run by Beijing or Brussels.

No more Malacca Trap. No more "you must decarbonize while we build the ASI" asymmetry. The hybrid petro/LNG-dollar isn't just dominance; it's insurance that the old powers no longer get to ration the future through their fake-green priesthood.

And yet, the birth rate peaked in '07 & has been dropping ever since, well below replacement levels.

If you CHOOSE to not have kids but like doing hard things I have great news for you:

Having kids is really, really hard, too, but also 1,000x more rewarding and lasting than the feeling of crossing a finish line.

You can do it! And you should, if you're able. And no, you'll never feel fully ready. And that's ok.
