There could be historical amounts of Aurora visible as it gets darker tonight. All we can do is wait and see.
Most of Northern Europe including the UK can see it already in images. Fingers crossed for this event to become naked eye over the whole of the UK.

If you have clear skies tonight, look up!
It's the peak of the Gemini Meteor Shower - The most reliable meteor shower of the year.
Expect to see up to 100 meteors an hour if you have perfect dark conditions.
Look in any direction after it gets dark through to dawn.
Look for incredibly fast streaks of light across the sky - shooting stars.
Give yourself a good 30 minutes or more and keep your gaze fixed on the sky.
Remember to make a wish when you spot one and good luck
