Everything physicists know about neutrinos, they’ve learned through experiments that didn’t quite add up. “The whole field is built on a backbone of anomalies,” said physicist Mark Ross-Lonergan. https://t.co/oA8qyBg4Q1
New MicroBooNE result in Nature! We exclude, at 95% CL, the 3+1 explanation of the LSND and MiniBooNE anomalies, as well as regions allowed by the gallium and Neutrino-4 anomalies. https://t.co/gmd0crJIUu
Exciting news! Tomorrow, we will be releasing new results! Join our seminar on the Fermilab YouTube channel at 3:30 pm Central Time, Wednesday 3rd December. https://t.co/Epbw7FnQWH
On Friday, Mark Ross-Lonergan of @PhysicsColumbia presented another new MicroBooNE result: our first search for dark sector e⁺e⁻ explanations of the MiniBooNE anomaly. You can read the paper here: https://t.co/xikMpXBKuL
Lee Hagaman of @UChicagoPSD and Erin Yandel of @LosAlamosNatLab have just released our newest results, presenting three different searches for single-photon production in neutrino-argon interactions. You can read our three papers at https://t.co/f1llTwdwJt.
New paper alert! MicroBooNE investigates pionless charged-current electron-neutrino interactions across multiple kinematic variables, and excludes these as the source of the MiniBooNE excess at >99% CL. https://t.co/EulYBOzybo
Its been great welcoming the neutrino community to Santa Fe for our workshop! We've already heard a tremendous amount from both our theory and experimental colleagues with much more to come!

Prof. Hitoshi Murayama giving us a great visual at #snowmass workshop kickoff of how little we know about the nature of dark matter, over 80 orders of magnitude where's it's mass could lie!
Our paper searching for single photons (induced by Δ radiative decay) as a potential explanation for the MiniBooNE low-energy excess is a PRL editor's choice! This was a fantastic analysis done by an incredible team!
@briankeating I feel cryptocurrency and NFTs, while based on same tech, should probably be separated here as they have quite different use cases. Or at least I'd be interested in what fraction is crypto to NFT!
@carguelles314@joachimkopp@jazzwhiz Correct! The 0p channel, especially in photons, is a much more difficult, and less sensitive, channel with these first results. Future uBooNE results will improve on this significantly both with more stats and improved reco.
We're getting super close to MicroBooNE's first electron results tomorrow! https://t.co/yffQIO12wK
Now is your last chance to guess what we have seen and have a time-stamped tweet to prove you guessed right!
So whats your prediction for tomorrows results from @Microboone !?
@jsdiaz_@Fermilab While we don't see an electron excess, MicroBooNE's results doesn't change the fact MiniBooNE saw an anomaly! In some sense it makes it more intriguing, eliminating some avenues, but we still don't know whats going on with MiniBooNE!
People asked for a Poll, so here's a poll! What do you think @Microboone will see tomorrow in their first electron results investigating the MiniBooNE low-energy excess?
