the reason why ppl are mad at fantano giving TGI a bad review isn’t because he gave it a bad score, it’s because he didn’t do basic research into the context of the album (like he has for so many other artists) and was very mean-spirited for some reason. it’s just a bad review.
what i'm learning from twitter is stans don't believe a legendary musician can have bad albums. they eulogise to the point of pretending to themselves, that every last album was something great, even the crap ones. that type of thinking is mass psychosis
i've worked with a lot of non-union producers. the worst ones were BELOVED by execs because they promised them smaller budgets and then turned around and did a sob story for the crew saying they couldn't get more money. low rates, skimping on crafty, etc. "sorry, not on me!"

NEW: Bari Weiss just addressed the termination of Scott Pelley on the network's morning call just now.
Weiss: "I know I speak for myself, and I hope I speak for everyone here when I say that I'm only interested in working in a newsroom that is built on trust and mutual respect. We cannot do our work without it. That foundation was broken on Monday, and despite our attempts to engage with Scott Pelley and to find a way back, unfortunately we weren't able to do so, and so we had to part ways.
We did not want that to happen, but that's the path that he chose. That unfortunate outcome does not discount from the amazing contributions and work that Scott Pelley has done for CBS and for 60 Minutes over the course of his career."
She then listed some of his stories from the past season and called them "unforgettable stories."
1 year ago today, Jonathan Joss was murdered in a homophobic hate crime.
Best known for voicing John Redcorn, Jonathan was a memorable part of many fans’ childhoods and will not be forgotten.

"I have negative money right now, I'm borrowing money that's how little money I have. Technically everyone watching this video has more money than me in their bank account"
The most disturbing part about this video is if she did have a right hand, the ticket would stand, her insurance rates would go up, if she had a cdl, her company might fire her.
We give entirely too much weight to the testimony of cops who refuse to believe they were ever wrong
while the internet loves to tear down people, we should also appreciate when people publicly admit their wrongdoings and commit to change. glad to see it
I have decided to drop out of the AI program at Amazon. I will not be making a Punky Duck series. Actions speak louder than words.
My intent was to showcase artists, both new and seasoned, both inside and outside the studios, driving this new tech.
My sincerest apology to those I upset. I promise to do better moving forward. Thank you for your patience with me. I will try harder.
so they can give a woman 15 years in prison for WORDS against a corporation but when men stalk and verbally harass and threaten women there's "nothing they can do about it until he actually attacks you"
