@MadysonWebber Love this! Where do you teach that shared this tradition? Our district used to do all school pow-wows (before covid) and walking into the gym each year, was always such a powerful experience! I sure miss watching my students dance in their regalia!

Educators can give the "gift of believing" not just to Ss but each other. When people believe in others, we can impactfully change their life's trajectory. I am eternally grateful to people who believe in me. Thank you @gcouros@jeffgargas@RaeHughart β₯οΈ

@edyoucatorfirst@gcouros Agreed! After going through distance learning the past two years, the need for building relationships and connecting with others has shown its importance over letters and grades!
What is your favorite type of rest or what do you need to practice more? Emotional rest, unleashing all my thoughts/concerns on my hubby or teacher friends, is my usual go to! Creative rest...want to practice more. #ED527
This is a great article that ties in our units from #ed527 so far! It goes over ways to use the tools you already may be using in a more effective way! #braindumping#techtools
@Educ8thefuture1@dreamteam1st They definitely can tell! I've really had to hone in my "teacher look" with only my eyes and body language since they can't see my entire facial expression though, anyone else?! π
@MadysonWebber These games sound awesome! Did you create all of them yourself?! I'm looking for more fun game ideas that don't involve a screen for my 4th graders!
@miriahdekok @kinderwithmrsv Blooket for the win! It is a bit more gamified and less teacher-directed, so the students can go on their own and watch the leaderboard change as time goes on. Kahoot is awesome to use for teamwork skills though and a way to switch things up!
