@AZimolzak @mathequalslove So many ideas!! Start with a notice/wonder of the puzzle grid. Then, offer a hint if necessary (I have a hint ready if you want it!! ;)) or helpful strategy - shade in 2023 in white grid. I also had groups that finished the easy version upgrade to challenge!! Have fun!!

Last week I embraced fear and joy in an attempt to work on the presented problem (borrowed from @standupmaths) by @mrsmoonmath at her #ictm2022 session with my 5th and 6th grade Ss. Not only was it SO worth it, but TODAY a 5th grader brought me a solution!!!! Teacher ♥️ = full!!
