Patient actually showed me his EOB from his Medicare Part-D plan.

Plan paid over $1,200

PBM paid our pharmacy $876 and pocketed the spread, which was well over $300 for one drug.

@pelterkevin The problem with your logic is that if you don’t change the reimbursement formula first, it doesn’t help the true problem. More is not always better especially when the PBM is also your competitor and they control the reimbursement. PBM’s take 40% of the prescription spend.
