@RobProvince We were in constant fear of the entire world exploding for almost 2 decades. And how did we cope? We made jokes about it. And people wonder why gen x is the way we are. There’s nothing you can do to us to make us care.
Jimmy is the only hall of famer from that team. I love Chase and Ryan, but their peaks weren’t long enough. Jimmy was the most important part of that team. Elite defense. Really good offensive player. Guaranteed a division title, then went and had an MVP season. Look at their record when he scored 2 or more runs.
@kurtsteege@FunFootballPod I won’t argue that. All of the clips I’ve seen of him in his prime, he was a BAD dude. Perfect combination of grace and violence.
@Super70sSports It’s hilarious. But I would say it’s top 5. Wedding Crashers. 40 Year Old Virgin. Anchorman. Stepbrothers. Honorable mention to Blades Of Glory.
He was the prototype for the modern day QB. Decades ahead of his time. One of the most talented players in history. And never cared enough to do the work to put it all together. Still one of my all time favorite players. When you’re a 12 year old eagles fan, he was basically Superman.
Correct. His line was terrible. And buddy didn’t care about offense. But it was also widely known that he never watched film, and thought he could get by on talent. Like I said, he was way before his time, and most coaches probably didn’t know what to do with him. But he’s not blameless.
@educated_real@Super70sSports I don’t think the injury hurt him long term. He just wasn’t coachable. He thought he could get by just on his talent. He had a million dollar arm and a 10 cent head. He seemed to figure it out with the Vikings. I was pulling for him to win the SB that year.
